Our Verdict
The Epson WorkForce WF-7110dtw is a printer focussed almost entirely on printing rather than extra features. Running costs are incredibly low due to the availability of both high-capacity (super high-yield) and compatible (third-party replacement) cartridges - both of which are available above. Maximum print resolution is 4800 x 2400 dpi, while mono print speed is 32ppm and colour print speed is 20ppm.
Design & Features
The Epson WorkForce WF-7110dtw puts function before form, passing on the 'designer look' of many recent models. As for paper handling, the Epson WorkForce WF-7110dtw features a 250-sheet paper tray. This A3 printer comes as standard with wifi, borderless printing, a duplex printing mode, .
We Like
Printer sharing is increasingly important and the Epson WorkForce WF-7110dtw features wifi so it can be shared across computers, even if a wired network connection is not readily available. Thanks to its handy duplex feature, paper consumption is reduced. Borderless prints are extremely handy, allowing you to take full advantage of media up to A3.
We Don't Like
At 12 years old, the Epson WorkForce WF-7110dtw is getting a bit long in the tooth. Measuring 567mm wide, it has a large footprint, although that's somewhat unavoidable for an A3 printer. The lack of multifunction (scanning and/or copying) features is a shame, although that isn't really the remit of the WorkForce WF-7110dtw. While the look of a printer isn't going to change the quality of prints or cost to run, it's still a shame that the WorkForce WF-7110dtw couldn't have been styled better, especially when it's such an imposing and large object.
