Our Verdict

The Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 is a printer focussed almost entirely on printing rather than extra features. Running costs are moderate-to-high due to a lack of high-yield and third-party compatible cartridges. Maximum print resolution is 1440 x 1440 dpi.

We Like

With high-end printing and ink technologies, it's a photographer's dream.

We Don't Like

At 11 years old, the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 is getting a bit long in the tooth. Measuring 2698mm wide, it has a large footprint, especially as maximum print size is only A4. The lack of multifunction (scanning and/or copying) features is a shame, although that isn't really the remit of the Stylus Pro GS6000. While the look of a printer isn't going to change the quality of prints or cost to run, it's still a shame that the Stylus Pro GS6000 couldn't have been styled better, especially when it's such an imposing and large object. Running costs are high as there are no high-capacity or compatible cartridges offered.
